On May 1, 2025, a piece of Do X history became reality again. On this day, the second launch of the Do X tug, passenger and support boat MS Altenrhein took place as part of a ceremony. Ship owner David Dornier discovered the motor ship Altenrhein in 2019 and had it restored to its original condition as a seaworthy boat within six years.
The MS Altenrhein Friends’ Association plans to offer this historic boat for round trips on Lake Constance.
